Professor Peter Braude

Professor Peter Braude is the head of the Department of Women’s Health at King’s College London and specialist in reproductive medicine at the Guy’s IVF unit.   

Background

Peter has been involved in IVF and embryo research in Cambridge and London for over 30 years. He was a member of the HFEA (Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority, 1999–2004), chairman of the RCOG (Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists) Scientific Advisory Committee (2004–2007), 
                                                         and also chaired the expert advisory committee to the HFEA on
                                                         Multiple Birth after IVF, which produced the report “One Child 
                                                         at a Time”.
