Roger Neuberg

Roger Neuberg is the Emeritus Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.

Roger has worked as an HFEA Clinical Inspector for the last ten years. He is a founder member of the Association of Broadcasting Doctors and has extensive media experience. He has been invited by RCOG (the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists) to join their panel of consultants to answer media queries.

Since 2004 he has been a member of the Executive Committee of the ALSO (UK) (Advanced Life Support Obstetrics) Advisory Board and instructs frequently on courses both nationally and internationally.

In November 2006 he was appointed Chairman of ALSO (UK).

Background

Roger set up the Leicester Infertility Clinic in 1976 and became Director of Infertility Services in 1988 when the Assisted Conception Unit was established. He was ‘person responsible’ from 1991 until his retirement from the NHS in 2006. He has very significant experience in all aspects of assisted reproduction and has managed and carried out over 2,500 IVF treatment cycles.
