Natural cycle IVF

IVF without ovarian stimulation. Rather than collecting numerous eggs and creating a number of embryos, the one naturally maturing egg is collected and fertilised for transfer.

Intensive care for newborn babies.

NIAC

National Infertility Awareness Campaign. Campaign led by IN UK (Infertility Network UK) primarily aimed at implementation of the NICE fertility guidelines.

NICE

National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence. A special health authority which was set up by statutory instrument in 1999 to make resource allocation decisions in the NHS more explicit and transparent, and to address the problem of the ´postcode lottery´.
