Multiple birth is the single biggest risk to the health and welfare of children born after in vitro fertilisation (IVF). It can be effectively reduced by transferring only one embryo to those women who are most at risk of having twins.

Workshop

One at a time is a professionally-led strategy aimed at reducing the risks of multiple pregnancies from fertility treatment. Following the success of the regional workshops that were held over the summer, an additional workshop is now being held on the 11th December in London to share knowledge and encourage open discussion on this subject.

Our aim

The workshop is aimed at all staff in fertility centres and all those who commission fertility services. It will provide the opportunity to share the changes and developments the initiative will bring about, facilitating the acceptance of this approach amongst all clinicians and patients.

Attendance at this valuable workshop is free, but places are limited so you are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment
